Day 1: Reykjavik

Welcome to Iceland, home to the Northern Lights, Bjork and active volcanoes! Check-in to the hotel and head straight out into Reykjavik to get a feel for the city. Packed with culture, art & activities this small capital city has a lot to offer. The mixture of stunning natural wonders, crisp clean air & quirky locals will ensure you'll be inspired & ready to discover more. Later, meet up with the other Contiki travellers and your Trip Manager over dinner & get ready for your adventure to begin.

Day 2: Reykjavik

Today we're off to the Blue Lagoon, one of the 25 wonders of the world. Get ready to enjoy the warm soothing waters, perfect for a relaxing & re-energising soak, as well as take some fomo inducing Instagrams, of course. The geothermal water has many benefits & the stunning blue-look lagoon is truly a unique experience. Once you're relaxed, it's time to head back into town to enjoy a free afternoon exploring the city. Tonight have your fingers crossed for a clear sky & have your camera at the ready for the spectacular Northern Lights on our locally guided trip, no doubt a bucket-list worthy experience.

Day 3: Reykjavik

Today it's a full free day to enjoy this vibrant city & soak up the stunning landscapes at every turn. There's the chance to take a Golden Circle tour to see spouting geysers, tumbling waterfalls and ancient volcanoes - a must-do for those that love the great outdoors. Get ready to see some of the best-known natural phenomena in Iceland including Gulfloss Waterfall, Thingvellir, the oldest parliament in the world founded in 930 A.D. & the geothermal area of Lake Thingvallavatn . Tonight we’ll enjoy the nightlife of Reykjavik & end your Icelandic adventure in style.

Day 4: Reykjavik

Say farewell to your new travel buddies, as this short and sharp trip of the country's highlights ends after breakfast.
