Day 1: Rome

Feeling the warm & hearty Italian welcome, we’ll arrive in the city of Rome. A mosaic of ancient monuments, narrow lanes & slow espresso sipping culture, we’ll slip into life here quicker than you can say ‘pass me the pasta’.

Day 2: Rome

With over 2,500 years of history & mythology, The Eternal City remains ambiguous to the uneducated eye. We’ll up our knowledge with a guide through the hidden streets, brewing up a hunger for a cooking class by evening. More exploring can be done in the borough of Monti, where Rome’s creative cats meander & linger.

Day 3: Rome

With the call of moss fringed ponds & giant fountains, we can venture to the Tivoli Gardens. By night we can find a charming wine bar or a local gelateria and watch the street scene of this eternal city slip by. If you can’t decide between a drop of vino or gelato for dessert, just do both- you’re on holidays after all.

Day 4: Rome to Florence

With our appetite for all things Italian officially whet, we’ll kick on in search of a new scene. Leaving the lovable Rome and moving towards the vineyards, we’ll coast in the direction of Florence. Although our over-road journey is meagre in length, we’ll still take time for a stop over. Here in the fertile lands of pungent olives & juicy grapes, we’ll take an indulgent bout of wine tasting amidst the grapevines. Shortly after our stint of grape juice gratitude, we’ll approach the mighty Duomo Cathedral. The dreamy Tuscan capital of Florence will play host to our next 3-days on tour.

Day 5: Florence

Get a caffè latte & fette biscottate in your hands and hit the streets, Florence is a traveller’s playground and it’s not going to explore itself. Roam the south bank of the Arno where you can find bookshops, cocktail bars & all the cool Florentine kids. Then you can top off your cultural submersion with the quintessential Italian experience; a Vespa tour.

Day 6: Florence

San Gimignano might be the prettiest hill-town you ever did see. 13th century brick walls whisper secrets of decades gone by, and the enchanting town centre is completely prance-worthy. By night we have the option to puff out the skillset, learning the mouth-watering secrets of Tuscan cooking.

Day 7: Florence to Italian Riviera

Florence Though the Tuscan hills will soon be a distant memory, the Italian sun will carry on beaming down on us as we leg it to the seaside of the Italian Riviera. Lucca Our last stop in the state of Tuscany may inspire you to whip out a paintbrush. Moss covered bridges & tree lined streets will lead us to the town’s amphitheatre of cuteness. Italian Riviera Just saying the word ‘Riviera’ should elude to the glamour & greatness that will greet us on the Italian Riv. Boat days and unfathomable views served over wine & antipasto – hello!

Day 8: Italian Riviera

La bella vita – Italian for “the beautiful life”. That’s the most accurate summary of the days ahead. Going lush on the Ligurian coast, we can take a boat cruise and take in the coloured cliffs from a new vantage point. Those feeling a little energetic can hike Via Della Amore - surely the world’s most remarkable coastal walk - and top it all off with dinner in the postcard Cinqueterra.

Day 9: Italian Riviera

Another full day on the Italian Riv coming right up. Use your time to daydream, explore or just soak some rays by the sea. If seaside dining tickles your evening fancy, you could try the local clam linguine & a glass of vino.

Day 10: Italian Riviera to Rome

Italian Riviera Feeling plump on life and immensely indulged, we’ll leave the Riviera region and head back to Rome. Given our first few days on tour in this city, it will almost feel like returning home. Rome Back in the time capsule of life on earth, we’ll toast our last night of Italian glory. Pizza, pasta & a few scoops of gelato should round things off in good fashion.

Day 11: End Rome

In good Italian style we’ll dive into a heartfelt hugging session as we wrap up our time on the Bellisimo. The only thing that will see us through the sadness is knowing there is so much more world left for exploring.
