Salvador To Rio 2018
SAVE UP TO $390 on this tour

This overland tour starts and ends on the beach with a host of cultural and natural highlights in-between. Your trip will start with a cocktail on Copacabana or night out on the town in Rio and move on to the charming gold rush town of Ouro Preto, following in the footsteps of treasure hunters of the past.

Then there is Brasilia, a futuristic architectural city built in the centre of Brazil as it’s new capital. Ahead of its time in the 1960’s its still a marvel to behold and many of the buildings are unique.

Contrast with the beauty of the cobbled streets of Lencois, the old prospecting town where black diamonds where pulled out of the silt of the river and the Chapada Diamantina with its array of rivers, waterfalls and rock formations.

The highlight of this amazing trip is the vibrant and musical Salvador on the coast. A hub of art, culture and fusion of styles with a distinctly West African feel. Renowned for the capoeira style of dancing, try it if you dare!
